Hong Kong Salary Survey
The dip in the total workforce number in Hong Kong – approx. 119,000 - has had a big impact on companies. Despite the Top Talent Pass Scheme’’ (introduced in 2022) there is upward pressure on Hong Kong salaries generally, especially in certain sectors such as tech/IT and aviation.
Almost half of Hong Kong jobseekers are expecting salary rises of 15-20% or higher when they change jobs, and Hong Kong employers are having to dig even deeper to attract and retain the best talent.
