On Wednesday, May 29th, Gemini Personnel successfully held the 10th HR Executive Roundtable. We organized the event in collaboration with Tahota (Shanghai) Law Firm and their offices on the 9th floor of Lumina 2 building at the West Bund AI CBD in Shanghai’s Xuhui District. Over 30 HR Executives, coaches, and service providers gathered to hear Jack Jia’s insightful presentation on the topic  “Negotiate Without Fear - Overcoming Traps That Expert Negotiators Encounter!”.

Jack Jia is the Principal at YRJ Management Consulting Company, focusing on strategy execution and performance improvement.

我们与泰和泰(上海)律师事务所及其位于上海徐汇区西外滩AI CBD Lumina 2号楼9楼的办公室合作组织了此次活动。

30多位人力资源管理人员、教练和服务提供商齐聚一堂,聆听Jack Jia关于

“无畏谈判—— 克服谈判专家遇到的陷阱!”

Jack Jia是YRJ管理咨询公司的首席顾问,专注于战略执行和绩效提升。

During the presentation phase, Jack shared insights from several expert (CEO’s consultant)negotiation books and his experience. He taught the audience that during negotiation we cannot focus on a single price or a specific clause issue. We must adopt multiple options in order to truly explore the other party’s pressing needs through the discussion, emphasize our differentiators. We should set ambitious goals as it may achieve unexpected results. He also emphasized using negotiation issue matrix to prepare before negotiation.

在演讲阶段,Jack分享了几本专家/CEO顾问谈判书中的见解和他的经验。他告诉听众,在谈判过程中,我们不能专注于单一的价格或特定的条款问题。

我们必须采取多种选择,才能通过讨论真正了解对方的迫切需求。

在谈判中突出自己公司的差异点。

我们应该为自己设定雄心勃勃的目标,因为它可能会取得意想不到的结果。

他还强调,在谈判之前一定要使用谈判要素矩阵进行准备。

Among many tips received from the presentation several stand out. For example, whenever there is a suitable short story (such as the story of an orange), it will add color to the negotiation process and improve the success rate of the negotiation. The negotiation train also vividly informs us of the importance and urgency of considering various factors in negotiations.

这次我们收获了很多条建议,其中有几条比较突出。

例如,只要有合适的故事(比如一个橙子的故事),就会为谈判的要素和论据增添色彩,提高谈判的成功率。

谈判列车也生动地告诉我们在谈判中考虑各种因素的重要性和紧迫性。

After the presentation, professionals and executives in the human resources industry had a roundtable experience sharing session. The focus on negotiation techniques and experiences in their work and personal life. Attendees learned how to negotiate with employees when they are to be laid off. Rather than focusing on negotiation, it's better to think from the perspective of the other party, listen, and show empathy. Only then can we truly solve the other party's demands and respond to the current situation of the company. The roundtable lasted till 10:30 pm!

演讲结束后,人力资源行业的专业人士和高管进行了圆桌经验分享。

专注于谈判技巧以及他们在工作和个人生活中的经验。

与会者学习了如何在员工被解雇时与他们进行谈判。

与其专注于谈判,不如站在对方的角度思考,倾听,并表现出同理心!

只有这样,我们才能真正解决对方的诉求,并对公司的现状做出回应。

From the customer's perspective during supplier negotiation, does not matter if you are a supplier or customer, focus on a win-win situation. Both parties should provide each other with multiple options to choose from and increase negotiation scope. This way it is more likely for negotiation will come to a successful result. Following the roundtable sharing the discussion lasted until 10:30 pm!


在供应商谈判过程中,从客户的角度出发,无论你是供应商还是客户,都要着眼于双赢。

双方应相互提供多种选择,并扩大谈判范围。

这样谈判更有可能取得成功。
