On Thursday, June 26th, Gemini Personnel successfully held the 20th HR Executive Roundtable. More than 20 HR executives and service providers gathered at the Huiyin Building of the TTI Success Insights at the heart of Shanghai to hear presentation and discussion on the topic “How to Use the Hidden Power of Emotional Intelligence Leadership?”, delivered by Shawn Chen.

2025年6月26日,晶雅人事在上海中心的汇银大厦TTI SI China成功举办了第20届人力资源高管圆桌会议。20多位人力资源高管和服务提供商齐聚一堂,聆听陈轩(Shawn Chen)关于 “情商领导力的隐性力量” 的精彩分享。

Shawn Chen is a seasoned organizational development consultant and facilitator with 20+ years of expertise in leadership development, talent strategy, and training design. As a certified practitioner in methodologies including Gallup StrengthsFinder, MBTI, DISC, and Ken Blanchard’s Situational Leadership, he has personally facilitated 200+ workshops for 2,000+ senior leaders. Shawn previously founded three corporate universities (TNT, Air Products, Harman), establishing regional centers of excellence for talent acceleration.

To start the key note presentation, Shawn invited participants to engaged in a visual exercise identifying micro-expressions in diverse emotional scenarios. This activity underscored the foundational role of emotional awareness in decoding interpersonal dynamics.

在开场环节,陈轩邀请与会者通过一项视觉练习,识别不同情感场景中的微表情,强调了情感意识在解读人际关系中的重要性。

Following this segment, Shawn introduced Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions, demonstrating how 34 distinct feelings interrelate across contexts. Main takeaway was that purposeful emotional navigation distinguishes impactful leaders from reactive managers.

接着,他介绍了普卢奇克情感轮,阐释了34种不同情感在各种情境中的相互关联,指出真正卓越的领导者与普通管理者的关键区别在于能否有意识地驾驭情感。

Finally, the session equipped attendees with a data-backed definition of emotional intelligence, the five core dimensions of EQ (Self-Awareness to Motivation) and a Four-step "Emotion Comfort" technique, reinforced through video case studies and role-playing. In current volatile environments, EQ is the catalyst for transformative leadership – enabling leaders and teams to transcend uncertainty through self-mastery and intentional influence.

最后,会议为与会者提供了基于数据的情商定义、情商的五个核心维度(从自我意识到激励),以及一个四步“情绪舒缓”技巧。这些内容通过视频案例和角色扮演得到了生动的展示。在当今动荡的环境中,情商是推动变革型领导的关键,它帮助领导者和团队通过自我掌控和有意识的影响力超越不确定性。

Following the keynote, HR executives engaged in a structured roundtable discussion focused on translating EQ principles into practice. Participants were first divided into five groups to explore real-world applications, sharing concrete examples such as:

(1) repairing a fractured relationship with a promoted peer through joint root-cause analysis;

(2) rapidly resolving a client complaint by operationalizing empathy through explicit acknowledgment of emotional needs.

Throughout the session three scalable methods for embedding EQ emerged as consensus solutions: integrating assessment tools into promotion scorecards, adding behavioral simulations to final interviews, and using exit interview data to diagnose organizational friction. Crucially, self-awareness and empathy were validated as transformative leadership multipliers – turning relational challenges into opportunities for growth.

主题演讲结束后,人力资源高管们围绕如何将情商原则付诸实践展开了一场圆桌讨论。参与者分成五个小组,探讨了情商在现实工作中的应用,分享了具体案例,

比如:

(1)通过共同分析根本原因,修复与晋升同事之间的破裂关系;

(2)通过明确承认情感需求,快速解决客户投诉,实现同理心的实际运用。

会议最终达成共识,提出了三种可推广的方法:将评估工具纳入晋升评分卡、在最终面试中增加行为模拟环节,以及对离职访谈数据进行主题分析,以诊断组织内部的摩擦点。会议还强调,自我意识和同理心是变革型领导的关键要素,能够将关系挑战转化为成长机会。
