Gemini Personnel participated in the 11th Sino-German Controlling Forum in Suzhou, China.  The whole-day event was held on Friday, June 14th, 2024, and organized by DUSA European Business Association. This grand financial management forum has been successful over the past 10 years. The latest iteration gathered over 100 executives and representatives from leading German and international companies in the region.

The Sino-German Controlling Forum brought together experts and professionals in the field of financial management and provided a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration. It was an opportunity to gain valuable insights, learn about best practices, and discuss the latest trends and developments in the industry. The event included a multitude of keynote speeches and presentations such as Winning in Market through Digital Transformation – Experience from OneSAP@Infineon and Leading National and International Expansion in Difficult Times – Experience and Lessons Learned in Ctrip Group.

Gemini Personnel was invited to organize a workshop on the topic of HR Management and Retention in Challenging Times. The company’s China General Manager, Tomas Kucera, shared the latest insights and data on staffing trends in China. The concept of work-life balance changed from being an afterthought before the pandemic to a key consideration for staff today. Workshop participants analyzed their company’s retention challenges and opportunities, brainstormed solutions in targeted case studies, and discussed solutions applicable to their companies. The retention rate is a reflection of the organization’s health. Managing and retaining staff during challenging times requires a balance between compassion and striving for results.
