On Wednesday, February 28th, Gemini Personnel successfully held the first HR Executive Roundtable in the year of the Dragon. We organized the event in collaboration with V&T Law Firm and their offices on the 32nd floor of Shanghai’s third tallest building Jinmao Tower. Over 30 HR Executives, coaches, and service providers gathered to hear Tilman Rieger’s insightful presentation on the topic “The Importance of Establishing Psychological Safety in the Workplace.”

2月28日周三,杰迈晶雅成功举办了龙年第一场人力资源高管圆桌会。

我们与V&T律师事务所合作,在他们位于金茂大厦32层的办公室举办了此次活动。

现场30多位HR高管、教练和行业人员齐聚一堂,聆听Tilman Rieger关于

“建立工作场所心理安全感的重要性”的深入演讲。

During the presentation phase, Tilman Rieger defined psychological safety and shared that the key is that “no matter what, there is always deep mutual respect for each other - even during a conflict.”

He discussed with participants 4 stages of psychological safety, including Inclusion Safety, Learner Safety, Contributor Safety and Challenger Safety.

Psychological safety is able to help one’s team effectiveness only if there is also clear goals and dependability in the team.

Furthermore, participants learned the advantages of psychological safety, the improper signs to look for and how to analyze and create it in a workplace.

Round table experience sharing by accomplished HR Industry professionals followed the presentation. It highlighted different company approaches to psychological safety at a workplace. For example, attendees learned over ten psychological safety issues, including how to make people speak up in front of people, balance of empathy, staying in comfortable zone is safer than making mistakes and getting blamed, job security and others.

The group also discussed solutions, including management setting aside time to speak privately with staff about their private issues and anonymous staff surveys.

演讲结束后,HR行业专家进行了圆桌经验分享。

强调了不同公司在工作场所心理安全方面的不同做法。

例如,参会者学习了十多个心理安全问题,包括如何让人在众人面前畅所欲言、平衡同理心、待在舒适区比犯错和受到指责更安全、工作保障等。

该小组还讨论了解决方案,包括管理层留出时间与员工私下讨论他们的私人问题,并对员工进行匿名调查。
